A. Absolutely not, although most of our placements require volunteers to work with children of all ages - so patience and an easy-going personality is desirable.
A. If you have done your research, you will find that Letz Volunteer placements are amongst the most affordable. We don't beleive in charging you extra to lend-a-hand abroad. Our fees a low, because our projects require independent young people to assist them. Your program fees contribute to your local placement (your food & accommodation) in addition to supporting local endeavours. Your placement fees also allow Letz Volunteer maintain a continued volutneer presence at your project year round.
A. Letz Volunteer was established in 2009 as the volunteering arm of the Letz Group - one of Australia's leading providers of overseas work, learn and (now) volunteering opportunities around the globe. The entire 'Letz' crew have personally experienced life living abroad and are on hand to assist you everystep of your journey! We presently have representatives based in North America and the United Kingdom who are supported from our Australian headquarters.
A. Our sister company Letz Travel has negotiated discounted travel and insurance packages for Letz Volunteer participants. In addition to flexible payment options*, Letz Travel can also arrange pre/post placement travel itineries for you at a heavily reduced rate.
A. The placements are safe although, like all travel (and life in general) we cannot cater for the 'unexpected'. All measures are in place and the Letz Volunteer crew visits projects on a regular basis and maintains constant communication with our project coordinators.
A. Most definately! A number of participants link a Letz Volunteer project with a Letz Live or Letz Learn placement in another country. Ask a member of our crew for more information.
Volunteer in an orphanage in India, work at school catering for students with special needs in Thailand or mix volunteering and travelling into one and enjoy a Voluntour overseas!
